BIA lecturers share their experience in Georgia

The guest lectures delivered by the lecturers of our Baltic International Academy under the ERASMUS+ international exchange programme aroused great interest among students and lecturers of the Caucasus International University, which is located in Tbilisi. And it is not difficult to understand. In their speeches, they supplemented the current theoretical findings with materials obtained in practice over the twenty years of Latvia’s membership in the European Union. The interest in experience of Latvia was also evidenced by numerous questions from Georgian students.

The head of the bachelor programme “Financial Management” and the master programme “International Finance and Economics”, Assistant Professor of the BIA Zhanna Chernoshtan devoted her speech to the analysis of the development and transformation of accounting in modern business in Latvia. Guest professor of the BIA Inese Mavlutova in her lecture revealed the peculiarities and problems of using finance in implementing a green course in the economy.

Dean of the Faculty of Business and Technology of the Caucasus International University Katevanu Nanobashvili cordially thanked the guest lecturers from the Baltic International Academy for their interesting and informative lectures and expressed the hope that they marked a good start for further cooperation between higher education establishments within the framework of the international academic staff and student exchange programme ERASMUS+.
