The guest lecture by Doctor of Psychology, Professor of Kirikkale University (Turkey) Nuray Taštan, which she delivered within the framework of the international exchange programme ERASMUS+, aroused great interest among students and lecturers of the study direction “Psychology” of our academy. In this lecture, she convincingly analysed evolutionary, biological and humanistic approaches to personality assessment in modern psychology.
The professor from Turkey got acquainted with the peculiarities of the study programme for the preparation of specialists at our academy and the study process. She was especially interested in the laboratory for the research on neurocognitive and implicit processes. She believes that the experience of this laboratory is worthy of application at her university.
According to the head of the study direction “Psychology”, professor of our Baltic International Academy Irina Plotka, the exchange of experience will be useful for specialists in the field of psychology of both higher education establishments and will contribute to joint scientific research.
