On January 17, simultaneously in Riga and Siedlce, the International Polish-Latvian Scientific Conference "Security in Central and Eastern Europe in the context of modern geopolitical problems" was held online. It was organized by the Institute of Security Studies Siedlce University of Natural Sciences and Humanities and the Baltic International Academy.
In the conference participated: V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University, H.S. Skovoroda Kharkiv National Pedagogical University, Baltic Defense College (Tartu, Estonia), Polish Naval Academy of the Heroes of Westerplatte (Gdynia, Poland), Vytautas Magnus University (Kaunas, Lithuania), Matej Bel University in Banska Bystrica (Slovakia), University of Ostrava (Ostrava, Czech Republic), Faculty of Political Science and International Studies (University of Warsaw, Poland).
The plenary session was held by Assoc. Prof. of the Baltic International Academy Vladislav Volkov; Piotr Dela, DSc, Assoc. Prof., Polish Naval Academy of the Heroes of Westerplatte, Gdynia (Poland); Marta S. Stempien, PhD, University of Natural Sciences and Humanities, Siedlce (Poland).
Scientific reports by Latvian side were presented by Vice-Rector for Scientific work, Assoc. Prof. of the Baltic International Academy Vladislav Volkov, MHist Raymond Rublovsky, Associate Professor Tatyana Yurkevich, Associate Professor Irina Cvetkova.
