The Fifth International Student Friendship Festival was held with great success at our Baltic International Academy. It was organised by the student service “Education bridge”, the Latvian-Bashkir society “Akbuzat” and our academy.
The festival was attended by foreign students who are studying at higher education institutions in Riga – Cameroonians, Indians, Sri Lankans, Uzbeks, Bashkirs, Azerbaijanis, Nepalese and representatives of other countries. They demonstrated the best examples of musical and dance compositions of oriental folk culture.
When opening the festival, one of its organisers, Deputy Chairman of the Latvian-Bashkir Society “Akbuzat” Ramil Kadyrov noted that the festival would expand students’ understanding of the folk culture of the East and strengthen friendly ties between them. He thanked the Baltic International Academy for assistance in organising and holding the student festival.
