The announcment that the BiArt student gallery is organizing an exhibition in honor of the 30th anniversary of the Baltic International Academy have found a wide response among artists. By mid-October, about a hundred artists and collectors from Latvia, Lithuania, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, and the USA expressed their desire to take part in the anniversary exhibition.
Most of them have previously been presented at the BiArt student gallery. Consequently, the audience will be interested in comparing the current works of artists with those that were presented earlier. They presented 120 drawings to the strict curator of the student gallery, the famous artist Valentin Danilenko.
He noted that among them are paintings by artists who are no longer with us. This is in a memory of the participants over the past years. Their works are taken from the gallery's storerooms or provided by collectors.
The grand opening of the exhibition will take place on the eve of the BIA anniversary, on November 15, Lomonosova 1/4.
