Baltic International Academy and Siauliai State University of Applied Sciences have friendly relations on the basis of a cooperation agreement. Representatives of this university are always honored guests in Riga, and BIA representatives are always welcomed in Siauliai. Moreover, another form of cooperation is the exchange of art exhibitions.
In February, our student gallery BiArt, on the initiative of its curator, a member of the Union of Artists of Latvia – Valentin Danilenko, organized an exhibition of paintings by Maria Matveeva at Siauliai University. Director of the Šiauliai State University of Applied Sciences Lina Tamutene, deputy director Nedas Jurgaitis, quality management representative Silva Adomaviciene, BiArt curator Valentin Danilenko and Maria Matveeva took part in its grand opening.
The artist thanked the Lithuanian friends for the warm welcome and presented Siauliai University one of her paintings.
