On May 12-13, XIII International Scientific Conference “Time of challenges and opportunities: challenges, solutions, perspectives” was held at the Baltic International Academy. It was organised by the Baltic International Academy, V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University, The Siedlce University of Natutal Sciences and Humanities (Poland), The College of Accounting and Finance (Latvia), Šiauliai State College (Lithuania), LTJSS’s Priyadarshini College of Engineering, Nagpur (India).
More than a hundred scientists representing higher educational institutions in Bulgaria, India, Italy, Cyprus, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Ukraine participated in the conference.
As Stanislav Buka, doctor of economics, associate professor, chairman of the BIA Senate noted, the reports and speeches of scientists from different countries reflect a wide range of opinions on the most topical issues of modern times. And the combination of scientific potentials will accelerate their solution.
At the plenary session, which was moderated by BIA vice-rector for scientific work, associate professor Vladislav Volkov, spoke:

Reports of scientists were presented in person and on-line in the following sections: Modern social psychology: theory and practice; Topical problems of Legal Science; Economics, finance and accounting; Entrepreneurship, innovation and management; Tourism and hotel business; Silence management; The European Union and European values.
They will be published electronically in the Conference Proceedings. They will be available on the BIA website in the section “Science”.
