Last week, seven lecturers from Bulgaria, Poland, Romania and Turkey visited our Baltic International Academy under the ERASMUS+ international exchange programme.
Irina Atanasova, associate professor of the Faculty of Economics at South-West University “Neofit Rilski” (Bulgaria), delivered a guest lecture on the specifics of international business contracts.
Her compatriot from Bulgaria Desislava Stoilova, associate professor of Finance and Accounting Department at South-West University “Neofit Rilski”, analysed the topics: “Public sector and public finance; Monetary policy and fiscal policy”.
Doctor of Law of the Faculty of Law at the University of Bialystok (Poland) Magdalena Perkowska devoted her lecture to the issues of criminalisation of illegal border crossing.
Associate professor of the Faculty of Economics at the University of Oradea (Romania) Dorin Cristian Coita analysed the effects of the blockchain technology on marketing in his lecture.
Associate professor of the Faculty of Economics of Mersin University (Turkey) Ebru Aricioglu delivered a lecture “Gravity equation and international economics”.
Her compatriot Derye Toksöz Kilic, associate professor of Isparta University (Turkey), analysed the new trends in tourism and Turkey.
Assistant professor at Isparta University of Applied Science (Turkey) Mehmet Yiğit devoted his lecture to the analysis of behavioral anomalies on decision making.
Viktorija Petlak, ERASMUS+ international programme coordinator at the BIA, assessed positively this diverse cycle of guest lectures and noted that they would significantly expand the horizons of BIA students and contribute to the growth of the popularity of the international student and lecturer exchange programme.
