You can apply for the Bilateral exchange programmes if you:
- our full-time student;
- a citizen of Latvia, a permanent resident or a foreign student with the valid temporary residence permit;
- have successfully completed at least an academic year as our Bachelor’s student at the moment of application, or at least a semester as our Master’s student or PhD candidate at the moment of application;
- have not either financial or academic debts for the previous study semesters at the moment of application.
and you meet the following criteria:
- have collected and prepared properly the full set of documents required by the Academy and a Partner University;
- your level of the foreign language proficiency is sufficient for participation in the exchange programme and meets the requirements set by the Partner University (for English-taught programmes usually necessary to provide an International English proficiency certificate at least at B2 level, while other Universities can accept applicants based on the foreign language grade for the previous study terms);
- the mean grade for the previous period of studies is at least 7 points on 10-point scale.
Some of our Partner Universities have additional requirements for the applicants or their own requirements, so check all criteria before applying for the exchange.
