Once you have received official approval from your Exchange University, you should:
- get health insurance for your exchange as specified in the approved programme. Make sure the policy covers medical services at institutions in the host country. Contact our International Department or your Exchange University for guidance. Submit a copy of your health insurance to our International Department at least one week before departure;
- arrange accommodation for your exchange period and provide proof of your booking to our International Department. Find additional information on the Partner University’s website;
- if you need a visa, collect and prepare all necessary entry documents before your exchange beginning, and submit them. Consult our Visa Department, the Partner University’s Visa Department, or the Partner University’s website for further information;
- book your round-trip ticket and send a copy to the International Department and Exchange University at least two weeks before leaving;
- attend the pre-departure meeting and skills workshop. Dates and times will be emailed. You may enrol on optional language courses before your exchange for an additional fee;
- confirm your enrolment at the Partner University before you leave.
Keep paying your tuition fees at the Academy during your exchange. You don’t need to pay tuition at the Partner University that signed the Bilateral Exchange Agreement or approved you without payments under the General Agreement.
