Once you have received an official approval from your Exchange University you should apply for:
- health insurance for the period of the exchange as set out in the approved programme. The insurance should cover medical services in medical institutions of the country of the Partner University. You can get advice on health insurance from both our International Department and your Exchange University. You should hand over a copy of the health insurance to our International Department at least one week before the exchange.
- Accommodation at the time of exchange and provide the proof of estimated accommodation to our International Department. Additional information and advice concerning accommodation is usually available on the Partner University’s website in the Internet.
- Visa (if required). You should collect, prepare and submit all documentation that might be required for entry the country where your exchange university is located before the beginning of the exchange. Additional information and advice on entry documents are available at our and Partner University’s Visa departments and on the official website of the Partner University.
- Book your round-trip ticket. The copy of the ticket should be submitted to the International Department of the Academy and to your Exchange University at least two weeks before the exchange.
- Attend pre-departure meeting and cross-cultural skills workshop. Information on dates and time of meeting and workshop will be send to you via email. You may also attend additional language courses for additional payment before your exchange.
- Once more, check your enrolment to the exchange programme in our Partner University before you leave for exchange.
Please note that you should continue to pay your tuition fees at the Academy during your exchange term. Students do not need to pay tuition fees at our Partner Universities that have signed the additional Exchange Agreement or accept the opportunity to approve you without payments based on the concluded general agreement.
