Lithuanians share their experience

Two groups of lecturers from the Panevezys University of Applied Sciences and from the Siauliai State College visited our Baltic International Academy under the ERASMUS+ programme almost simultaneously.

Lecturers from the Panevezys University of Applied Sciences Viktorija Pletkute and Loreta Klokmaniene introduced the BIA students to the peculiarities of social work in theory and practice, taking into account the experience of Lithuania. After the lecture, a discussion between students and lecturers from Panevezys took place, during which the topical issues of social work were analysed.

Ginta Gerikaite, dean of the Faculty of Medicine of Siauliai State College, delivered a lecture on the basics of a social worker's activity in the field of medical rehabilitation. Her colleague Silva Adomaviciene, a representative of the governing body of the college for the quality of education, got acquainted with the peculiarities of the educational process at the BIA and held a discussion with the curator of the BiArt student gallery Valentin Danilenko about the participation of artists from Siauliai in the spring exhibition at our academy.
